A collection of handwritten lectures on Mineralogy, consisting of two Introductory lectures and 24 topical lectures. The lecture series was written and delivered by William Wagner, founder of the Wagner Free Institute of Science, between 1853 and 1884. Wagner delivered this lecture series for the first time in 1853, prior to the founding of the Institute in 1855. The lectures contain many notes and alterations throughout the text; evidence of his continued revisions over the years.
